Selection Criteria

Cost: Even though the refundable return deposit system might have the possibility of a higher cost, it provide more value to our target market.

Customer needs/market: we have a very specific target group, aiming towards for post secondary students and faculty members of SFU. We hope to provide a rewarding program to help students and faculty members to save financially due to the cost of tuition and other expenses increase.

Technical: Some of the skills that are required in order for us to build this product are; programming, prototyping, designing and marketing.

Time (skill/ Strength): It will take approximately take at least one month to create a basic prototype of our product.

Skill set: Our team has all the necessary skill set to create this product.

Feasibility: We strongly believe that our product will be feasibility and will meet the demand in the market.

Functionality: The functionality will enhance the recycling experience and provide a financial support to students.

Team skills: Our team has the essential skills to develop the conceptual idea.

Market: There has been advertisement to prevent global warming, this program will be support initially by the government to help save mother earth (Environment).

Price: This product is roughly estimated about 500 CDN supported by the government.

Appearance: this product’s appearance is similar to the current recycling bin that SFU has now. The difference would be that our product would have extra features.
