A. FEEDBACK

  1. There are only minor conceptual refinements that needs to be made which are (from the observation, feedback) the interaction with the RRIF card with the system and the feedback on the monitor screen.
  2. The three main experienece that we would like to refine on that could improve the interaction design are Engagement, Efficiency and Convenience.
    1. Engagement – Are the aesthetics appropriate and appealing to users?
    2. Efficiency – Is the system functional and operational properly to the optimal?
    3. Convenience – is the process enjoyable?
  3. The four technical refinemnts that we are able to assess based on observatio, feedback and the use of our prototype during the open house are, insert card, crediting the card, handle on the lid, and bar code scanner.

Open House Planning Tuesday, Mar 4 2008

As discussed in a group, we want to make a good impression with our presentation and prototype even though it is partially operational, to show the overall experience we want users to feel and understand. The goal and requirements that we set for ourselves is to have the deliverable ready and rehearsed, to be able to answer any inquiries that will be asked by the viewers in open house. We have set deadlines and brainstormed on how we would setup for the open house on and how to present with the walkthrough of our prototype. In this week, we have gone to different companies and search for the suitable materials for our prototype starting with our “recycling bin”
